How much do you charge for overtime?

We do need to charge $600 for each additional hour beyond the contracted schedule for each photographer.

Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

There is no travel fee for the photoshoot within 50 mile from San Francisco. For the photoshoot starting earlier than 8:30am, I need to be covered hotel accommodation near the first photoshoot location at the night before the shooting day. For destination wedding, the shooting price is the same but I need to be covered all the travel expense like 2-3 nights hotel, round trip airfare, around trip car service to airport or rental car fee.

Do you provide high resolution images for all the photos taken at the event? and Raw files?

I provide high resolution “.jpg” files. I shoot “.raw” files but I do not provide raw files. I do provide options to purchase extra color adjustment photo for $10 each or retouching photo for $50 each and you will have bundle discount when you buy 10 more photos for either one. When you plan to bug extra photos, you can access the online gallery to see the web size raw jpg photos. After receive your payment, the extra photos turn over time is around 2 weeks.

Are you able to take specific pictures requested, such as: 1st look, wedding site, cake, etc.?

Yes, for example, I will suggest you to provide a family member and bridal party list and send it to me with your wedding schedule. If you have any surprise plan about 1st look or cake cutting etc.. Please let me know when we go through the details of your wedding schedule.

What is your refund or cancellation policy? (In case of unforeseen COVID issues)

The deposit is not refundable. When we meet unforeseen issues like Covid, you can reschedule to the day that works for both of us without extra charge and the deposit will save as credits for one year if the reschedule time is uncertain. For any other issue, there will be one time to reschedule with no extra charge if I get informed three months before the shooting day. There is $300 reschedule fee if I get informed to reschedule the photoshoot day less than three month. There is $600 reschedule fee if you reschedule the photoshoot day less 10 days before the shooting day. For engagement/prewedding, I will also save the day after the shooting day as back up day or the most recent available day in case of weather issue like raining, storm etc.

What happens if you get sick on that day and are unable to make it?

Mostly, I will show up except getting into the event of calamity. If you book two photographers, the second photographer has the same style as mine as back up. If you only book one photographer, I will make every effort in event of calamity to engage alternate photographer(s) through professional networks to accommodate client’s needs. In the event of a calamity causing Jim (Jun Li) personally to be unable to perform the photography in your wedding, at the discretion of the Client, this contract will be null and void and Client will receive the refund of any Deposit and any Balance paid.

Will we have the rights to the images?

The client will do have the right for personal use like make prints and album and post on social media but not have copyrights for commercial use and re-editing or modifying the photos to post on social media. If you are also working in photography and art field, you must clarify the photo credit to Jim Lee Vision when you post on your social media.

Would the 6 hours or 8 hours photoshoot be continuous, or could it be split into 2 photoshoots?

Yes, the engagement/prewedding package is continuous. Most cases are just planned to do it in one city and it is easier to finish it in one day so no need to cost double time and money for another make up. Only the 8 hour photoshoot can be negotiated if you have any plans to do something special like roadtrip or hiking etc. In this case, I need to be covered the additional round trip commute or hotel accommodation for the additional night. The 8 hours photoshoot can be split when I go through your plan and I think it will be easier and better to spilt to be two days.

What equipment do you use? Do you have back up equipment?

I use Canon Eos R5 Lenses: EF 24mm f1.4 L, 35mm f1.4 L II, 50mm f1.2 L, RF 85mm f1.2, RF 70-200mm F2.8, four flashlights: Canon 600ex-rt II, lots of memory cards for dual saving images
